"Cars & Trucks" is not the correct place to post your question for your Xerox XC1044 Copier. However, I can tell you that the heating element in your drum assembly is most likely defective. That is why the toner is not sticking...it is not getting hot. You will have to replace your drum assembly to fix it.

HINT: on an older copier/printer like the XC1044, it is usually just as expensive to replace the drum assembly as it is to buy a new copier/printer. You should probably shop around before putting any money into it.

I replaced front driverside brake pads and the caliper will not fit why ?

If the piston was not compressed completely back into caliper, ( I use a large C-clamp,) then the caliper/brake pads will not fit over the Rotor. Also when you compress the piston back into the caliper be sure the brake fluid resevoir doesn't overflow when the fluid returns during the compression process.

I am having a problem with my 92 honda accord. the problem I'm having is when I try to acelerate from a dead stop my rpms get stuck at about 2 or 3 thousand rpms it'll get stuck and it doesn't pass those...

As for the sticking throttle plate, hit it with 1000 grit sand paper, and then the area where it actually touches the inside of the throttle body. MAKE SURE ITS 100% clean!!! The reason it is sticking is because of deposits, so really clean it up. Also clean the perimeter of the throttle plate. Hit that with 1000 grit sand paper as well until its shiny again. I just finished doing this and it worked like a dream. Also, when youre done, hit it with some intake manifold cleaner. It has a decent lubricant after it dries that reduces stick. That is your problem. The TPS is probably not messing with your idle, mine's a 93 and it still reads stock voltage. Clean your IACV with some electrical kleen, and then take off your FITV and clean that as well. open and close the throttle plate like 20 times to make sure it's not going to stick, good luck

Can you tell me where to find dip stick for automatic transmission fluid for 1998 1.8 vw passat.

The dipstick is marked ATF Engine Oil and is close to the oil. Pull this dipstick out. Wipe it off with a clean paper towel. Look at the fluid on the paper towel. Transmission fluid needs replacing if it is brown. Fresh transmission fluid is translucent red.

WHERE IS THE TRANSMISSION OIL STICK LOCATED IN A SATURN 96 SL?

It is the next stick over to the right of the oil stick. It will be red in color. However, the transmission fluid can only be checked after the car has been driven for a while and the engine will need to remain running while checking it. The stick is usually hard to read, but if you have any carbon paper that isn't used these days, you can wipe that paper on the stick, while the stick is dry, and it will let you see the fluid level really easy.

When changing the transmision filter how much fkuid do I need to put back in the transmision after the new filter is in

Figure on having on hand about 12 quarts, but always use the dip stick to check the fluid level...I know they are hard to read, but if you have some old carbon paper that we use to use before computer, you can wipe the paper on the stick and it is a trick to be able to see fluid on the stick better.

What is the right way to check the transmission fluid

before checking the fluid the trans fluid must be at least 185 Degrees F.(hot to the touch), then let the van stand with the eng running for a few minutes pull the dip stick out and wip it off with a lint free rag or paper towel, (the blue paper towels auto parts stores sell are good for this), reinsert the dip stick, the fluid level should be between the 2 lines with the cross hatche in between, if it is at the or just below the very bottom line add one pint and repeat check

Window problem

You have two options: one take the window button out of the door, unplug the switch, take a paper clip find the power wire (red wire) stick one end of the paper clip in there and stick the other in a hole until you find the window goes up, (this is a quick fix). Now that you have the switch out contact your local Recycle yard and ask if they have a new switch for you.
