An olive oil bottle fell on to the stove cracking the glass. I would like to find a replacement glass if possible.
I located a company that supplies a new top but only to find that the tops are 400.00 anyway. I ended up purchasing a new stove to solve the problem.
Allegedly there is a manufacturing fault with the glass of this particular Schott Ceran Lamona model ( hja1613 ) which causes it to easily crack abnormally so you probably didn't crack it yourself. This type of glass is manufactured in such a way that on impact it should SAFELY shatter (never crack!!) into small pieces in a similar way that a car window does. Mine was within warranty. If yours is within warranty they should send out an Engineer to check it and have it replaced.
