My cuisinart coffeemaker stops brewing after making 1or 2 cups and I have to keep turning it off and on to start the brewing process, it still will not make a full pot. I tried cleaning it with a solution and it won't even brew that through . My Cuisinart coffee maker turns itself off after brewing a cup or two. It worked better for a while if I used the 1-4 cup button. Now its back to brewing tiny amounts of coffee. I have to turn it on and off 10 or more times to get a full pot. Very frustrating.
Finally, I got my coffee pot to run through without stopping several times. To fix it I had to run vinegar through eight times! Never before has it taken so many cycles to clean out a pot. It is still spluttering a bit so today I am going to get more vinegar or maybe even CLR and run it through a few more times.
Run 2 cups of white vinegar (instead of water) through the coffee maker. Calcium or sludge has probably built up in the water tube. I had this problem, and the vinegar cured it. You probably want to run some plain water through afterwards to get rid of any vinegar taste.
You might consider replacing or leaving the charcoal filter out. I did this and flushed with vinegar once and saw a small amount of improvement. I went from making one cup to a full pot when i flushed once with Lemishine mixed with water.

I have the same problem with the exact same coffee maker I have tried pushing the 1-4 cups button. That worked for a couple weeks, now it is back to only brewing half the water in reservoir whether I push the 1-4 button or not. It is very annoying.
