Malicious users can easily capture information transmitted over an
open wireless network. To prevent unauthorized access to your personal
information it needs to be encrypted.
To secure your wireless network some kind of encryption must be
enabled on that network, whether it is WEP, WPA-PSK (or MAC Access
Control List). The most used method (and easiest to configure) is WEP.
