SOURCE: Black & Decker 1/2" drill

I had to replace the variable trigger on my 3/8 Black and Decker as the trigger failed and would not start the drill.Maybe you have the sme problem as many B&D drills have the same variable trigger.

I have my late husband's B & D 6.0 volt drill/driver model CD 2000. The drill bits are rusty. Can I buy replacements and what kind do I buy?

The drill bits you are talking about are probably only up to about 5/16 to 3/8". A small set of about 19 drill bits would cost less than $25, but you should be able to have your drills sharpened by any handyman who has a grind stone. The rust will wear off as soon as you use the bits.
