If you have forgotten the code lock for your Sonic TV and cannot retune it, you may be able to reset it back to factory settings by performing a factory reset. However, please note that this will erase all custom settings and data, and revert the TV to its original state.
To perform a factory reset on your Sonic TV, follow these steps:
Turn off the TV using the power button.
Unplug the TV from the power outlet.
Press and hold the power button on the TV for 15-20 seconds.
While still holding the power button, plug the TV back into the power outlet.
Continue holding the power button for another 15-20 seconds, then release the button.
The TV should now reset to factory settings.
Please note that the steps may vary depending on the specific model of your Sonic TV. If you are unsure or if this method does not work, you may want to consult the instruction manual for your TV or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
There are several codes listed for Akai products that I found, listed by type:
TV Codes: 1002, 1061, 1427.
HDTV Codes: 1427, 1432.
DVD Code: 2378.
VCR Codes: 3055, 3058.
Receiver/Tuner Code: 5083.
There are no codes for audio or amplifiers beyond the code for the Receiver/Tuner.
Hi Tharen, The link below is a 36 page user manual for a URC4041 and unfortunately that model doesn't supply any codes for a sonic television in this manual but I did find one code from a URC6230 model and that code is 22114. I hope this helps.......CHEERS.. http://www.rockabilly.net/files/manuals/URC-4041.pdf
you would have to select the video/audio source(that you connected the DVD to) on the tv by pressing the input or video button on remote or tv front panel.
You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information http://www.freeview.co.uk/_retuneinfo/ If the above process does not work then check the link above for additional information and also visit the accompanying site links below to find more information for your model of TV / FREEVIEW box. For troubleshooting the retune procedure visit http://tvretune.co.uk/troubleshooting/ For specific model information visit http://tvretune.co.uk/productmanuals/
