Nope, way to many amps, could cause it to explode, you can get a replacement charger off of ebay for about $6 delivered

SOURCE: It just won't start

If you battery is old, has continually gone a month or more without being charged, or has been left charging for extended periods of time it could be the battery. But it could also be one of the switches getting dirty. I would suggest going to www.modifiedpowerwheels.com They have all the info you could every want on how to troubleshoot and fix these.

SOURCE: need to replace wheels on sons power wheels

I just replaced the wheels on the red Fisher Price Kawasaki Brute Force. First use a screw driver to pop off the grey middle nut cover. Then pull of the locking nut with black cap that is under the grey cover you just removed.

Once that is removed the wheel comes right off. There are 4 phillips screws holding the hubs together. Unscrew those and the hubs separate into to pieces (one on each side of the wheel).
Simply place the hubs into the replacement wheels and screw back together. Slide the new wheel on (make sure the washer is still on the rear side of axel).

My replacement wheels actually came with the black replacement locking nuts taped to them. Hammer the replacement locking back on the alex, pop the grey hub cover back on and you are done.

If you are missing the locking nuts, take one of the originals you removed with you to the hardware store and you should have no problem getting them. - MTRAGE

SOURCE: bought new battery for power wheels-charged it for 18 hours and t

It will most likely be the Failsafe foot pedal switch. You can pull that switch out and order a new one through online vendors such as Amazon.com or you can make the repair on the spot by purchasing a "sealed 60 amp starter button" from your local autozone and replacing this for the old one. You will have to make it fit in the old compartment, but that can easily be done with an oversized washer. If this toy truck has three wires going to the pedal switch and most likely it does, disregard the orange one and only connect the white ones and the red one. That fixed the problem on my little one's Fisher Price Power Wheels Escalade. You can also check if the battery is good and if the motors are working by simply connecting each motor to the battery with a pair of gator clips and some cables. <!-- from fixya rte -->

My grandaughter's Fisher Price Barbie jeep is running slow. I have charged the battery twice and it doesn't make a difference. How can I check to make sure it isn't a bad charger before

Test the charger with a ohm meter, or you could take the vehicle to a Power Wheels service station, they can test the battery for you to see if it is good.

You can find your closest service center here: http://service.mattel.com/us/powerwheels_info.asp

If you end up needing a replacement battery or charger they can be found here: http://www.mendingshed.com/powwheelbat.html

I have a power wheel price fisher charger and i like tu use it to charge a peg perego battery i have power wheels fisher-price 12v and i need the conection for a peg-perego 12v. Thank you,

hi, you will have change the adapter on the charger or the battery. do you have a peg charger thats not working? if so simply cut the connector off and splice it onto the power wheels charger. the chargers are simply a ac adapter so the only real difference is the connection points. get a cheap volt meter at harbor freight (under $5) and make sure you connect the + and - wires correctly, failure to do so will blow the fuse on the battery and maybe destroy the adapter. from your question im thinking you dont have the peg connector so can find those for sale on ebay or on http://www.modifiedpowerwheels.com . good luck!

Battaery had a small chager

Most likely a defective battery.  Typically these Power Wheels batteries only last a couple of years.  If yours is under a year old, you might want to contact Fisher Price about a replacement under warranty.
