I have a Sharp LCD TV Model # LC 32SB220U. When you turn the power on, within a minute or two, it clicks off. I have tried everything in the instructions to troubleshoot the problem. I also reset to factory settings. Could you give me any ideas on self fixes for this problem? The TV is about 1-2 yrs old. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Call sharp back again and tell them you first want to register for aquos advantage program, which is free. By doing that your service will go much quicker with them. You then tell them that you want to get set up for service. They will have one of their authorized professionals come and fix your tv in a matter of days. If their tech cannot fix it, they will replace your tv free of charge as long as you are within your warranty.

In most cases, you can reset the TV by leaving it unplugged for 30mins.
If this doesn't work, I believe the circuit board that supplies power to the screen maybe bad. They call this board a backlight inverter board. It would most likely cost more to repair than replace the TV .

Does the blinking pause for a short time after blinking a certain number of times? Just checking whether the self-test diagnosis is able to detect the source of the problem.
