I have had an electric LG dryer, model DLE5932W, for only 18 months. It is equipped with a sensor dry cycle that I love and always have used. It will dry the clothes until they are dry, no more/no less, and then cool down the clothes and automatically shut off. For the past 2 months, it will not sense that the clothes are done and will continue to tumble them with the timer stating 1 minute remaining endlessly. The same happens whether I choose the sensore dry on the permanent press, normal, or cotton cycle. When I use the manual timer, the machine will turn off. I have to manually stop the cycle. HELP!
Check your venting. Insure it is not clogged as this can cause the unit to stick at 6min mark. Just before the cool down period.

I'm sorry to hear of your problem with your LG dryer. I have one as well and it works very well. I found my owners manual. It has a web site WWW.LGSERVICE.com. They also have a toll free number 1-877-714-7486. Perhaps either of these will help you find an answer. Good Luck

Ours sticks on 6 minutes.
Mine, too, sticks at 6 minutes. This started about 4 months after I bought the dryer. A tech came out and fiddled with it and said he needed to order a new part. He left, I never heard from him again and the dryer worked for about 18 months until last week, when it started sticking at 6 minutes again. This is a different model -- DLG2525S.

lg electric dryer, ran it for 60 minutes high heat to dry heavy load. At the end of cycle the timer said "0" but the drum didn't turning and the heat was still on, there was no cool down cycle.
