The volume does not turn up or down and the remote buttons do not work except the power button and the buttons on the tv set dont work except the power volume channel or input do not work if anyone can help solve this it would be appreciated if not. A number for the Ilo company to talk to somebody there.
I just used the following instructions from this site on my 'totally dead' Ilo remote and it worked like a charm! I did step 2 twice on each key and put the batteries back in and it worked great! Hope this helps you too. "Dead" Remotes Can Be Saved How to Re-Start Your "Dead" Remote Control This only takes about a minute and will restart 1 in 3 "Dead" Original Remote Controls. Good Luck! Step 1- Pull the batteries out of the remote and leave them out until Step 4. Step 2- Press and release each and every button one at a time on the remote control until every button has been pressed and released at least once! Step 3- If your remote has slide switches, you must move the switch to each position then repeat the button pushing in Step 2. (When you're done, be sure to put the slide switch in the correct position to operate the unit the remote came with!) Step 4- Put the batteries back into the remote, being very careful to install them correctly. New batteries should be used if you're not sure about the old ones. Step 5- Try the remote. If it works, Great! If not, it's time to call 1-800-Remotes or use this website to order a new remote.
My 26in ilo is stuck on hdmi i cant change the channel or adjust the volume with either the tv or remote can somebody help
The only thing that works on my ilo tv is the power button as well. Whats funny though is you press the power button down and a red light comes on then you have to hit the channel button or volume or source for it to cut on but after it cuts on no other buttons work but the power button. The controller doesnt work either. Its stuck on hdmi.
My Ilo wont work!!!! the remote wont work only the power button does and the buttons on the side of the tv wont work either...only the on and off button...what gives!!! its annoying and I dont know what to do!!!

I had the same prolem and walmart said only 15 days for returns and the repair service told me at least 2 weeks for someone to look at it. This is my only tv what am I suppose to do?? I took the TV apart and saw no resets or anything like that so I shook the TV I banged in it and still the same thing . I thought maybe one of the buttons were stuck . MY SOLUTION :I HELD THE ON OFF BUTTON ON THE TV(NOT THE REMOTE) AND TO MY SUPRIZE IT WORKED.HOLD THE BUTTON IN FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES.

Same problem, and I'm starting to think I'm screwed since I can't find a company phone #. Walmart buyers (for the corp) should be advised of this issue. It seems really common.
I have the same problem... nothing works except for the power button. Fortunately, we got "stuck" on Component Two when watching a DVD, so now we are unplugging and plugging in what we are using, whether it is the dish, the DVD player or the PlayStation II. It's a drag, but at least we have TV. Our local repair store figures we're out of luck on the repair efforts. Guess we'll just wait until it dies for real.

my volume controlls on the remote went first, then the channel controlls wen on the remote and the buttons on the tv dont controll the channels either. i got a new universal remote and that cant be set cant figure it out????

Channel button works, volume button works, but power button doesn't work. Have to turn the tv on and then use the remote, but get up again to turn the tv off. Bad system for a bedroom tv.
