Star choice remote has worked on my 37" Sharp Aquos tv for about a year, all of a sudden today it won't work. The program buttons must have been reset by accident. I can find program codes but none of them will work on my tv???? Help My remote suddenly stopped working too for my Sharp Aquos TV. Sharp was great and sent me a new remote. However, the new remote also doesn't work. Please help if you can.
You might try unplugging the TV and then plugging in again. It worked for me

I have a 9 month old Sharp Aquos LC-3234UC34. It has worked perfectly in conjunction with my Directv receiver until last week. Suddenly my Directv remote would not control the volume on the Sharp and my TV remote was dead. I now have to get up and adjust the volume everytime I change channels because the different stations have differing volume levels. Sharp is suppose to have a new remote in the mail to me. it's been 8 days??
I have a Sharp Aquos TV that I controlled with my DirecTV remote just fine for years until recently. Now I can't control the volume or the TV on/off, even though I've tried all kinds of codes on the remote. It sometimes works fine for a week and then it stops again. I've tried the Sharp remote and that's hit or miss too. Now I"m worried it's a TV problem not a remote? Does this mean I have to invest in a new TV if I want this stuff to work??
