Step 1: First of all, you need to unplug your printer from the wall outlet.
Step 2: Navigate to Control Panel following by clicking on Programs and Features.
Step 3: Choose all the Canon printer entries and thus uninstall them
Step 4: Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows key and the R button,
Step 5: Type "printui.exe /s" followed by pressing the Enter option.
Step 6: Navigate to Drivers under Printer Server properties.
Step 7: Remove any entry from there.
Step 8: Type "c:/programdata" in the Run window and go to your Canon folder.
Step 9: Now remove any printer related files and folders from there.
Step 10: Restart your system to save the changes.
