Lexmark pro 705 wont recognize cyan ink

I recently replaced my ink, it worked for a few weeks now it wont recognize my Cyan cartrige. It said to replace the ink, and I did, but still not working. I tried reseting the printhead cartrige, but this didn't resolve it. I have also tried reseating the cartrige many times and even tried to reboot the printer, but this isn't an option I guess. Very confused.

Make sure that you're using genuine Lexmark cartridges. If you are, try updating the firmware of your printer. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.

Reseat the printead again and the cartridges then reboot the printer. If it doesn't help, try replacing the cartridge.

    It may be possible that the printhead is defective. You may call Lexmark Technical Support at 1-800-539-6275 for assistance. You may also log on to www.lexmark.com and click on Support & Dowloads tab to chat or sent an email. You will need your printer purchase receipt and the printer's serial number. This is necessary to obtain warranty service and replacement.

    probably this is due to dust. clean the lens of scanner of your printer. if it would not work, change the scanner cable, it will sure work.

      Epson has gone to great pains to ensure that third-party cartridges dont work. They really did a good job. Sometimes their printers wont even recognize genuine Epson cartridges.       Jast push some ink through the print head plastic pipe.Take a seringe of full ink, put off all the ink cartrige, then set the seringe front hole on the cyan black pipe (that are usually set in side the cartrige). Then push cyan ink into the pipe.
      After that, I think your printer would work again.

      Cyan ink discharge at the back of the ink crtrige.

      The leak is from the cyan ink cartridge or from the connections in the ink tube system. Replace the ink cartridge first. If that does not fix the problem, replace the ink tube system.

      Rx680 epson ink cartridge error

      I was changing my cyan cartridge and got this error. I thought for sure it was that cartridge. Tried a few things including pulling them all out and putting them all back in. Didn't work.

      Finally, I found a place in the software that showed the info on all the cartridges. Turned out the light cyan was not reading. Took it out and rubbed the contacts with a pencil eraser. Voila! Problem solved.

      After cyan ran out, installed new cartrige. Printer produced everything colored blue as red. Purchased new cyan cartrige and the problem recurred.

      The problem seems from your new cyan cartridge.
      It doesnt print cyan ink.
      Try to clean print head and test print for each color
      from the utility menu

      Cyan Cartridge not working

      Show empty or not recognized (cross sign)? Check connector at chip and at head carriage. Do replacement procedure form status monitor (how to..). Do replacement ink tank one by one with cyan ink first.

      Cyan Ink not printing

      The important part of question is the word "refilled" Remember that the cartridges come pressurized from the factory so when refilling you are taking a chance as to whether the cartrige will preform as expected. That is not to say that it should not work but I am sure if you replace the cartridge with a Lexmark approved cartridge the cyan will work.
