I want to be able to listen to the caller so everyone in the room will hear.

While on the call you can press the int'com (intercom) button and the display will say hold/transfer, then you would scroll down to base and press ok. You would then just answer the transfer at the base.

Hope that helps,

On the bottom right side of the handset is a button that says speaker. It will not transfer to the base station but does allow for anyone in the same room to hear the phone call or message as it acts as a speaker phone.

HOW CAN I TURN UP THE VOLUME ON HANDSET. VOLUME IS SO LOW CALLERS CAN NO HEAR ME

There is no outgoing (microphone) volume control, if it is only your set try the handset from different extension. The microphone element may have been damaged (especially if dropped) and have to be replaced. Replacement handsets are not hard to find. If everyone on your system claims that callers cannot hear them, there are some settings on the central switch (KSU) which might help, but only after ruling out a problem on your particular set.

Can't find my manual. How do I get the messages off the phone, it's a Magicbox Logan three dect thingy.. Also how do you get a conference call happening?

Hi
To delete messages you need to first listen to them all on your machine via the BASE, then after all the messages have been played (which can be very boring) press and hold the DEL button. It will then ask you to confirm deletion by pressing OK. Not too sure about the conference call as mine does not have it. If however someone else in the same room wants to listen to the caller you can press the handsfree button (speaker icon) on BASE. If you want to speak to someone within your household in another room, you need to press OK on HANDSET, then press down to INTERCOM, press OK again and it will give you several options, INTERCOM ALL (where all available handsets can talk to each other), or HANDSET 1 or 2 to select a specific one. Hope I have helped and it does not sound too gibberish!

Heavy Static on phones. Can't hear caller. No caller ID

Room monitoring mode is basically a type of Intercom.

Press the *TONE/exit button on the handset to exit room monitor mode.

I will provide you with link to the user manual of the phone. Have a check at it. Might be useful.

I can hear caller on handset but they cannot hear me?

We just had the same problem with our AT&T 2462 hand sets. They simultaneously stopped transmitting, and though we could hear the caller, no one could hear us on the other end of the line. We unplugged the base from the power source, took the batteries out of the hand sets, waited 20 seconds, then plugged everything back in and they worked just fine. Hope this helps.

Vtech cordless phone appears to be mute

Try the "hard reboot". /1/ Unplug power from base station. /2/ Disconnect battery in each handset. /3/ Wait a few minutes. /4/ Reconnect battery. /5/ Re-plug-in power to base station. /6/ Place handset in base station, and wait a few minutes for it to recover.
You may have to reset time/date and/or the handset ##.
