Toshiba TP50G50 Theaterview picture is double with red color only

Sometimes when the TV is on the screen with appear but with a double picture. Only the red color seems to duplicate. Previously when the power was turned off and then back on the screen would correct itself. Now there is little or no change in the picture when the power is turned off and back on. We love our TV but want to fix the picture problem. Does anyone have a fix?

Your alignment is off. Go to the set up menu then convergence. hit right and you will be in the convergence menu. select the color that is not in alignment. The green line does not move. if blue and green are lined up the line will be cyan. if red and green are lined up the line will be yellow. when all three are lined up the color will be light. Best of luck!

Toshiba theaterview model#tp50h15 no picture,red indicator solid,bulb?

Red means TV on standby. TV remote not working. Check the transmitter LED flashes by viewing remote on a digital camera or phone whilst pressing the buttons. The invisible light will flash purple viewed from the camera.

Have an older Toshiba theaterview TV, when turn on, we have no picture, no sound, just black screen and blinking red light that just continuously blinks.

Theaterview suggests a rear projection--in that case it most likely is in the convergence circuit--unsolder chips (convergence) and see if set turns on.

Some of their regular TV sets (picture tube) if the light is just blinking means the same thing=shutdown because of a short/problem but a model number would tell me which you have.

Fuzzy picture help 55" rear projection toshiba

Just click below for convergence repair kit;

http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/

Double images and colors are blurry .Blue,red and yellow wave coming up from the bottom of the screen on the lower left and fuzzy images this is a symptom is for busted convergence IC,you must replaced this IC in order that will works better again.STK 392-xxx ICs and it's associated resistor,this resistor automatically change value,can caused trouble even though you change the ICs.If you bring this to a service center they cost you $600 to $700,but if you buy the repair kit you can save more,don't wory it is very easy because there is installation guide including in the repair kit. Feel free to ask whatever the result... click the link for sample picture guide step by step installation;

My screen is cracked need to be replaced

Your set has 3 screens:
FA812 SuperShield is no longer available
23837472 Lenticular lens is no longer available
23837450 Fresnal lens is also not available.

Check with some of your local TV shops. You may find a non-working TV with good screens for sale.

Good luck

Have a Toshiba TP50G50 Projection televison with no picture. Have 100 volts to power board

100 volts is too low to power the entire projection TV. Usually with rear projection TVs there are three tubes that create your picture on the screen. To power those tubes, they each require a high voltage (usually around 10,000 volts - yes ten thousand) that is produced by a high-voltage step-up transformer call a 'Tripler' - since it powers all three tubes. This device and the rest of the TV require full utility voltage (120 - 130 volts AC) to properly power the unit. Correct the voltage and try again - is the house / residence voltage like that in each room? IF so, you probably have other issues with devices you probably haven't picked up on.
