Samsung dishwasher makes a loud buzzing sound when the water is filling. It pulses a couple times to start then is constant. It pulses again right before the wash cycle. Comes from the bottom left.

This is common. The noise is coming from the water pump. If it bothers you, you can try UNPLUGGING the washer or turn off the Circuit breaker first. Then you can remove the bottom kickplate on the front of the washer and clean around the pump. If there is a water filter scree, clean it out. Make sure there is nothing rubbing against the pump which could cause a buzz. Tighten all fittings and screws to eliminate vibration noise.

My washer makes a loud buzzing noise model Fridgidaire GLTF2940FE

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire washer, model# GLTF2940FE, will lock the door, start buzzing, and not start the cycle. I suggest resetting your appliance, be either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Hotub clicks and then makes buzzing noise when turned on.

does it blow a breaker? check to see what is going on by unplugging all the pumps, blowers lights and anything else plugged into the circuit board (heater too)
turn the breaker on once everything is unplugged and then proceed to turn the spa off, plug one item back in and turn the breaker back on.
Do this until you find the buzzing....

You may actually have a back relay on the circuit board causing the buzzing by not latching in when the pump or something is trying to come on.

Hello,

Sounds like the main wash pump has burnt out are there any leaks under unit.It could also be the heater.but the loud pop sounds more like the wash pump.

Air handler is running but outside unit fan is not running. Just a buzzing noise.

The buzzing if it is real loud is a very wore out contactor and could be the cause of your unit not running. Check your circuit breaker. you'll likely need service and have the unit cleaned for best performance. Good luck Tom

Unit not getting power

These machines seem prone to having a bad magnetron. Look for a circuit breaker near the power cord entry point. If tripped, reset and try to heat a cup of water. If it makes a loud buzz and then pops the breaker again, the consensus view is a bad magnetron. This is one repair that is recommended to send out. (~$150). You need to evaluate the probable cost vs a new machine.

Loud buzzing after heating up

the buzzing is normal.  there is an element inside the quartz tube much like a filament in a light bulb.  as this heats up it starts to move.  where you have electrical energy you also have magnetism produced. metal objects vibrate when they are in or within a magnetic field. the element is tungsten wire and vibrates off this magnetic field.
