Hi when i tried to fax from the printer x6570 it says fax driver missing and i need to re-install the driver. I have re-installed the driver and it still keeps going on about it. Has anyone faxed anything from this printer ?
Same problem. I was using the cjb6500en.exe file which does not contain the OCR and FAX drivers. Use the installation CD and select Custom->Update Driver and Install Optional Software to add the FAX driver.

The Lexmark Fax Solutions software can be installed using the installation disc that came with your printer. Please contact Lexmark technical support for additional assistance.
Try dialing *82 and then the full fax # you are calling. AT&T sometimes has issues with caller ID functions, and I found that this caused me to be able to receive a fax, but not send one. Post back and advise whether this resolves your problem. Best, JudyP
scanner drivers have not been properly installed .it requires fresh installation of software after removink previous install of software.
tell me ur operating system,i will give you steps to uninstall previous software and install new software.as far as fax is concerned,first we have to install drivers,then ur fax issue will be solved
Hi u need not install fax software for this machine..its a standalone fax machine..the fax software provided for fax is for computer faxing..
first find which operating system u have on ur computer..if its vista..try downloading drivers and then installing
use the CD installer that came with the Lexmark 9500 and do a clean fresh install. Do not plug in the printer/fax until instructed to do so. Pls follow on screen instructions.

Remove your printer first and uninstall driver .Then set your ip address, dns and gateway in the computer as given by the internet service provider. And connect to the internet. Then connect your printer and install drivers. If your printer is ok then it should work
