Tv turns off and then back on

I have a sony 60 inch lcd and the tv every 10 minutes turns off and a minutes later in turns back on

    I have the same problem I have replace my lamp and the tv still turns off.

    Does the green light flash when the Tv picture turns off? How long has it been since you replaced the lamp?

As the anwer to the customer with the short lamp live you must replace the lamp but first make sure your tv fans ar not cloged & replaced if needed other wise your lam life will be reduced dramatically

Sony wega 55 inch tv turns on fine but after one minute tv shuts itself off and comes back on 40 seconds later by itself and this cycle continues - none of the error code lights blink
This kind of problem occurs when lamp becomes weak that means near to end of working life hours but still not dead nor broken.
Replacement of lamp in tv will solve your problem, lamp replacement procedure is easy and would be written in user manual.

Lamp will turn off about every 10 minutes and come back on about a minute later.seems to be getting worse.

Tv comes on when you turn it on,after two minutes the tvpicture and volume shut down to a black screen, then 30 seconds later everything works normal for 2 minutes and repeats over and over.
Lamp inside of your TV set is almost dead. Replace it.

most likely, buy you a lamp and install it yourself, the owners manual tells you how to do this.

Symptom shows its Lamp Replacement time in KDF-E60A20 TV
If you have not replaced TV Lamp yet then change it.
Lamp is available in Part Store and lamp procedure is written in User Manual.

the tv will try to reboot a few times. just let i try and eventually it will start blinking red. if you could count the red blinks then i can further assist you.

TV Picture Goes Black
I had the same exact problem.
I removed the bulb and cleaned it. There is a small screen at the top of the bulb and it was covered with dust. Once it was cleaned I replaced the bulb and it solved the problem.
