My laptop doesnt charge propely

i believe the problem is with the battery.your battery have fixed charge cycles so it does not charge when it becomes old.

I have a total of 5, yes 5 netbooks and a laptop. My experience has taught me that sometimes, it is the charger not the actual netbook/notebook that is the problem. My barely used compaq laptop sat quiet for 2 years.... wouldn't charge..... I assumed it needed repairs more than I could afford. Meanwhile, with 2 of the netbooks, they stopped taking a charge even with the lil led light on. I ordered new chargers for netbooks- PRESTO-- they took a charge. And eventually got a new charger for the expensive paperweight I had too. Now they are all working again. Not an expert by any means, but have had a lot of experience with them. I would rather pay 15 bucks and be wrong, than assume it's something else- have them fix for 80.

enter the bios with F12 and battery status somewhere, you have to see if the battery is charging.
1 - if you do not recharge the battery, you can try a new battery if the battery schimnabata no (new) option 2 then it does not load.
2 - is necessary to change the motherboard, because the battery charging mode does not function normally.

If your new adapter is not compatible with your Acer Aspire in voltage and current, your laptop maybe can't work well. Check your new adapter and ensure if it is the same with the original adapter.

try to look first at your power supply or the charger, it mght been shorted, look at the fuse see if it is cut off.

Is the charging of the battery part of the camera or is it a separate charger? Meaning you remove the battery from the camera and install it into the charger to charge. Of course, if the charge is not full when both batteries have been on the charger, then the charger is at fault. Also, considering that you have also put a new battery on the same charger and the problem is still the same, then the charger is (again) at fault. You can try and send the charger to the retailer for inspection or, better still, take the whole camera and get it checked. Bad batteries or charger can cause more trouble to both the batteries or the camera.

Get it changed with a good piece.Something wrong with either the phone/charger. I suspect your charger.
