I have a lexar LDP-400 MP3 player (128MB capacity). One day it dropped all of the files. When I plug it into the computer it shows on the display that it is connected & it shows up as F drive in My Computer. If I go to send files to it the computer asks me to insert a disk into drive F. When I turn on the MP3 player it tells me there are no files and when I check in the menu under information it shows the following: INT: 0MB Free: 0MB Someone told me that I should be able to make it work again by formatting the MP3 player. Is this true and if so how do I do it (I tried right clicking on the F drive in My Computer and I'm aksed to insert a disk in drive F)? Thanks
Formatting the Disk maybe solve it. But if the disk itself is working. Go to Start-> Run -> type "cmd" -> format F: then press "y" and another "y" if it asks you again if the system couldn't read the drive itself. Then this means that your storage on the MP3 Player (that shows as F on your computer) is now broken.
