SOURCE: need true chain/bar size for my husqvarna Model 254 chainsaw

Maximum bar size of 20" but would recommend 18", if it is running sluggish, check compression, if low replace the piston, if it is 135psi or more then make sure the airfilter is clean and then tune the carb and make sure you get good revs and throttle response throughout the rev range, use the typical carb adjustments from the owners manual from the Husky web site. This is a 5hp saw and is capable of cutting some big lumps of hardwood so no excuses on the power front

SOURCE: ive just bought a husqvarna 34 husky is this the

Get Chain lube for the chain oiler. Naturally, husqvarna recommends that you use "genuine husqvarna" oil for your mixture, I recommend a quality oil, doesn't have to be husky. Husqvarna recommends a 50:1 ratio, other manufacturers, of vertually all 2 cycle power equiptment use a 40:1 ratio. This mixture is slightly richer, but will not hurt your chainsaw. May produce a bit more smoke. Not sure what a 34 husky is...neither is Husqvarna, I visited the website and even tried to download a manual. Looked at every husky model, no 34.

Can the chain oiler be adjusted on a 141?

No adjustment possible.

But that can be good news when you got good oil as you can run a longer bar and chain up to 20" The shorter the bar the more oil present on the chain and bar during operation

What is the gas/2 cycle oil mixtuure for a husqvarna 55 chainsaw

These saws were normally ran on a slightly richer mix. The reason was becuase of the mix oil available. I would recommend running a 40:1 or 50:1 mix. Make sure you use an "FD" rated mix oil and Premium ethanol free fuel.
The premixed fuels / oils are even better. They contain the FD rated oil 95 octane fuel and no ethanol.

Husqvarna 51 file size

Several bar and chain combinations fit the 51 model saw. If your saw runs an H46 / H80 or H81 style chain you will need a 7/32" (5.5 mm)
If you are running a H21 style chain you will need 3/16" (4.8mm)

I am using a borrowed Husqvarna model 51 chainsaw (aprrox 18") and having a problem with the chain seizing up. It worked fine for 30 minutes or more, and then the chain suddenly had much more...

Sounds like the bar is to tight. There should be a cover and 2 studs, loosen the nuts and then look for an adjusting screw at the back of the bar and back it off.The chain should have about 1/8 slack when pulled from the bottom of the bar.A tight chain will heat the bar and turn it blue close to the chain guide.A new bar will be required. Thank you for using FixYa .
