I have a Sony Vaio FW 160D running on Vista. I hooked up the Motorola DC800 to 2 different stereos and it didn't work. The Sony Vaio shows the DC800. The DC800 is paired with the Sony and shows it should be receiving music (slow pulsing blue "M") but I hear nothing. I was on the phone with Sony for over 2 hrs (it was escalated 2 times) and on the phone with Motorola for over 30 minutes. I tried Netstumbler but I guess my adapter is not compliant with it since it always says "No adapter found". Can anybody help?

It's a lot simpler than you think..
1. make sure the cables to your stereo are in the LINE OUT of the dc800, and on the LINE IN or AUX IN of your stereo (trust me, double check them)
2. make sure your DC800 is PAIRED with your computer. this is different with each different "STACK" read the help files on your particular bluetooth stack to help you with this is you need more help. Remember, you have to hold the big "M" button in the front of the DC800 to pair it.
3. when you want to send audio to the DC800, make sure you CONNECT the DC800 using your particular stack. Once the DC800 is paired with your computer, you can often set up a link or icon on your desktop to connect or disconnect the device from your computer.
This should take care of it. If you are still having problems, make sure to check your audio properties to see if the audio is sending to the Bluetooth device. This is USUALLY changed automatically, but sometimes you have to tweak your settings to make sure it's sending to the Bluetooth.
