Most car harnesses will correspond by Colour thus look out for an orange Colour from the pre-installed/ pre-selected wires.
Now the issue is, not all cars come with such wires pre-selected and installed ie bunched up with the Audio cluster, for such, you need to identify the wire yourself that connects to the light switch on your dash board and tap into it.

the orange wire is for illumination it doesnt necassarilly mean that it illuminates your radio some vehicles it illuminates the dash lights or a/c controls so on and so fourth it may do nothing to your praticular car but others it does

not sure if your still looking for a solution or not but here you go. that orange and white wire is normally the wire that controls the dimmer within the stereo. when you dim the dash light the factory radio lights dim and that wire is suppose to make the new radio do that also. in my past i have found that only about 30 percent of the aftermarket radios actually do that when hooked up. give this a try and let me know. good luck
