Kodak Easyshare LS753,lost pictures during USB transfer to PC

First while my camera was plugged into the USB port and transferring pics (at the same time,it was erasing them from my camera) the cameras battery died...and it stopped transferring (at this point only 25 made it on), I switched to a new battery and resumed transfer...This time my computer froze as it attempted to upload the rest of the photos/videos. Not knowing what to do, I turned off the computer/camera then turned it back on a few secs later only to find out the pics had dissappeared!!! All 300 or so including the videos...the pics are of our families (3 young kids) first trip to Disney!!!:(

Is there any way to recover pictures from either my cameras internal / external memory. Although my camera says there is nothing there and the Easy share does not show them anywhere either? If not can the pictures possibly be hiding somewhere on my PC or in my Kodak East Share software?

You can recover photos from camera with asoftech photo recovery program. You can download the program from
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

Try photo recovery software to rescue the lost pictures from the camera, here are some you may rely on. Both programs can also recover videos and music.

Photo Recovery (for Windows)
Mac Photo Recovery (for Mac OS X)

Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the memory card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

In my personal experiences, your problem could be resolve in these three ways:
1). Try to unhide these files.
According to your description, your files may be hidden anyway. Try to show them all up again:
Start => Run => Type in "control folders" and press "OK" =>Click "View" and hook "Show hidden files and folders"=> Press "OK".
2). Scan your camera memory card with antivirus tool
Sometimes, the virus also would hide the files make them invisible for you. So, just try to do antivirus scan on your camera. (You should take care not to delete some needed files in the process.)
3). Restore your files back by using a photo recovery freeware:
This problem also could be caused by the camera problems. So, if you want to save these files, you'd better try to use a photo recovery freeware that always could help retrieve the inaccessible files back for free:

Cannot transfer pictures

Ensure that the camera has Date set in the camera setup. If the batteries went dead, you might only have the default date and for some reason this stops the transfer. Obscure but true.

My kodak easyshare c913 turns of when hooked up to usb

Try opening the Kodak software first, then turn the camera on. I've found that you need the Kodak program to transfer the pictures from the camera. I personally do not like this, my old camera (also Kodak) would act like a plane old flash card/removeable device, this new one doesn't.
Anyhow, I find it super easy to just take the SD card out and pop it into the media slot in my printer. Then just open explorer and it's there just like any other hard drive or CD/DVD drive and transfer them to where ever you like.
If your printer or computer doesn't have a slot for SD cards you can get one that plugs into a USB port, pretty cheaply at any store that sells computer products.

Transferring pics

Have you taken new pictures with the device, or are these already possibly transferred to your system/PC? If they are already on your PC, it will not add them again (to save you space).
If you chose transfer all, what do you get as a result? Check the log for help.
