Wont print says is offline. Uninstalled & reinstalled..says all good. Prints a test page, scans & photocopies but wont print from computer..says is offline
Try on the print menu open file and you will see offline click on it to change to online and let me know again if we can try another solution

Have you tried a different print cartridge? Usually a black page from a laser printer is caused by the drum in the cartridge not recieving the correct voltage. Try borrowing one from someone if you don't have another to try.

Unplug it and then re plug it in; I suggest USB connection over anything else; don't worry about self install if you already have done so in the past. In the print > hit properties on the icon for bubblejet > go to the ports tab > scroll all thw way to the bottom and click the "USB" checkbox. and you should be good.

I've tried everything before for months... unplugging, new cartridges, servicing, etc. I've always avoided jarring an electronic item, but hitting the front fixed it! A couple of open-palmed smacks above the paper drawer, and it printed this very page. Apparently, sometimes the cover over the laser sticks shut after replacing the print cartridge, or removing a paper jam. Sounds crazy, but smack it!

buy a new printer, for the headaches a non printinprinter can give ya, its alot easier to buy a new one. you can get a new one one for the price of new ink cartriges, my god people is that hard to figure out!

I had the same problem, after replacing both black cartridges. I solved the issue by running the print head cleaner. Below is the link to the instructions.

If I go into the printer tool bar & check status it says printer is online. However when I try & print something it makes all the right noises & loads a page to print & then says printer is not responding or printer is offline. I bought a new cord to connect printer to computer & it made no difference.
I had this same problem. I just tried to delete the device all together. It asked for confirmation, and now it is working. I used it yesterday and I didn't install it again, but maybe somehow there were 2 or something. Who knows... anyway, deleting worked for me!
