Hi, When this error appears in your printer check if ink are smeared on the holder where the contact panel is with the cartridge. To fix this issue use the Kleenex(perfume ) added with few drops of water to dampen it and clean off those contact on the holder. You should let the unit sit 24 hours for best results. Before printing anything run aligned thecartridgesa couple times then run clean cartridges a couple of times. Print the test page to look for the condition. Thank you !!
I had that problem with my Lexmark X5410. The cartridge box
said it worked in the X5410 but the instructions gave a different
number cartridge to use. The #32 cartridge was not right for my computer. It needed a #28 Black.
Also - make sure you remove the tape from the cartridge before installing it.
