Yes, it can be fixed. You may have a bad jog wheel or the micro switches that reside beneath it. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me directly through the website. Thank you.

SOURCE: cdj 800 locking up on vinyl

There are very small wheels underneath the jog wheel, and these wheels are sitting on a plastic assembly, which has a tendency to break over time. More than likely, you'll have to have this repaired by an authorized service technician.

I had a drink spilt on my CDJ 1000 mk3 and the jog wheel feels gritty when turning in either direction and the jog wheel adjust knob is really stiff as well,I have been looking for video's on how to...

Download a copy of the CDJ1000 Mk3 service manual. This will tell you how to take the platter off. Once you do this clean the rollers with a silicon based cleaning fluid and cotton wool ear bud. I can't remember the proper name but i'm sure you know what I mean. I've done this before and they are like new after.

My cdj mk1 jog wheel is stiff when turning an scratchin.

One or more of the bearing wheels have become damaged underneath the jog wheel. You need to strip the unit down and remove the wheel to get access to find the broken / stuck wheels. Replace, or re-seat, and you should be back up and running. The jog wheel is a lot simpler than it looks, once you have it out. Just be careful of the sheet switch, which detects pressure on the wheel. They're very fragile and vulnerable!

My jog wheel sticks / doesn't glide like it should...

I had the exact same problem. I was working a party when some drunk ******* spilled some beer in my coffin case, thus getting into the jog wheel and cue button. I continued to work with it for a few months but got pretty fed up and brought it to a pio dealer. They fixed it up quick and cheap, now it glides like my other mk3s. I'd say bring it in a get a quick quote.

Pioneer cdj 800 mk2 playing mp3s, jogwheel & screen dont work

More than likely the contact pad (aka Membrane pad) is probably damaged... or the flat cable which connects to the main processor, might be loose, or damaged.

You'll need to get this professionally checked out by a qualified technician. It's not an easy fix.
