I have the exact same problem. All of the light on the router are on, but I cannot get a connection. I have tried resetting the router, cable modem and PC, but nothing seems to reset the router.

same thing here, was working fine last night, woke up - all lights are on, nothing plugged into it other than power.

i have the same problem.  Its not the modem because i plug directly into the modem and im on the internet.  It is the router.

I have the same problem. Can't access the controls, since they are all web-based! With no connection working on the router, its impossible to fix. Empt970005's answer doesn't help, as I bought this 2 years ago. Did I miss a firmware update?

Same problem here. One night it was working and the next it wasnt on

Works for about a minute or two, then just stops working and disconnects from my wireless card. My computer shows every Wifi signal in the neighbourhood, and also shows that my wireless router is broadcasting NO signal! It is a month old. I'm taking the damn thing back!!

  • Anonymous Apr 13, 2009

my internet connection gets cancelled all the time and i have to consrantly disconnect and reconnect.

  • Anonymous Apr 30, 2009

I have a similar problem, I cant connect to the wifi or lan cable everytime I plug adapter after a long time being off. What I normally do is unplug the adapter for a few seconds then plug it back again.

I have the same problem. I the modem signal started dropping out and I unplugged the power and internet cables to get it back, but after about a week of doing this the modem is completely frozen and all the lights stay on/do not blink. It's a couple of years old so I know it's no longer under warranty. I will not be getting another D link!

  • Anonymous May 05, 2009

    why is this happening

  • kevin1188 May 20, 2009

All the lights for the PC's connected stay on... and not flicker meaning there is no PC activity. I hit the Reset button in the back and all the PCs try to identify the network but get nothing out of it... i try typing in the default IP to see the settings and i cant even do that.

Sounds like a defective modem/modem failure if, it does not reset or if you take all of the other wires out and just leave the power in and none of the other lights go off then that is definitely a defective mode, I suggest either returning the modem to where you purchased it from or calling D link it should be covered under there warranty for replacement.

Configure d-link wbr 2310 and now wont connect

Hi mech_warrior,

Press the reset button of the d-link router for 30 seconds, unplug and plug the power cord.

MAC cloning is used for Cable ISP configuration but that should not affect the router's functionality (odd router behavior) ;-)

That should do it!
