When I turn my Janome MC10000 on, it comes up with a msg to lift presser foot and raise needle then turn off and on again - error #08
Nothing will get it to turn on without this msg and of course it will not sew. Thanks

My Janome 9000 has always done that. I can prevent it by raising the needle when I first start the machine, getting it to sew quickly or raising the needle and letting the machine sit for a few minutes. I think my computer wants to warm up a minute. As you can see I.m not a technical person but it works for me.

Janome 350E Sewing Machine. I am getting a message telling me to raise the presser foot and needle bar then turn off the machine. After doing all that the message is still there? What can I do?

Are you having any problems moving the needle bar with the hand wheel? Make sure that the presser foot is up and the needle bar is fully up. Then redo the top threading for the machine. Try unplugging the machine and blowing any loose debris out of the needle bar area. (I'd suggest compressed (canned) air or equivalent to minimize excess moisture in the electronics.) Also check if the machine gives the same message with the presser foot and needle down on restart.

If the problem persists, then the issue is likely to be a faulty control board. I don't know if any sewing machine repair technicians still have spare boards. They aren't on the in stock parts at two vendors that I know.

I hope this helps.

When I turn my Janome mc 9000 the screen says raise presser foot and needle bar and switch it off and back on. I did this several times and it still says same thing.

Almost defiantly a sensor issue. These are not easy machines to work on due to their hi-tech design. Clean and inspect as much of the mechanism as you can as some cotton or fluff may be obstructing a sensor or switch. This may stop the machine from calibrating.
Below is a link to a PDF of janome error diagnosis. It is a bit complicated but one of these steps may solve your issue or offer a solution.

Error message #2

Perhaps this error list will help you resolve the problem:

Try lowering the pressure foot and the needle and then raise them
again and then restart the machine, and if that doesn't clear the
error message then it's time to service the machine.

How do I fix the following problem with my Janome MC9000 sewing machine?

Unfortunately you are probably not going to be able to fix this.
It needs a sensor adjusted (probably), or a component replaced.

Janome 9700 suddenly is showing warning. Raise

Ask the seller! He has a vested interest in helping your machine work! As a former newspaper writer, believe me, if you send something to a local rag, about your problems with your Janome, the seller will sit up, and take Notice!

My sewing machine model no 9000 is showing a error is '' raise the pressure foot and needle bar then power on #01

First, I would make sure the embroidery unit is unplugged if you r trying to sew and check the bobbin winder to make sure it is off. Also look for thread in the guide, these machines are very sensitive and when the slightest bit of thread gets caught in the tension of the threading format, the computer will automatically turn on error message.
