No Audio after swapping motherboard

I was swapping my motherboard from my Emachine 3507 to another case. When I went to re-install it back into the original machine I noticed I have no audio coming from either output. Everything else works fine. All drivers are accounted for and nothing seems noticeably wrong. Stumped on this matter.

You may want to try re-doing the driver for the sound card. Sometime when they get removed are you using a PCI card or on-board either way something was lost in the mix of things. You would think just switching the box would not be a big deal when moving parts around to the same places.
You may have used a different PCI port possibly download the driver software again or go online and check updates Windows it may come up with the driver for you. I think you can find that driver Click Here John

I have an emachine T2642 desktop and I need to replace the battery. Where is the location to replace the battery

A desktop machine does not have a battery, only a power supply. Unless you are talking about the motherboard battery which is located on the motherboard inside the desktop, but if that is the case I highly suggest having someone at a local shop swap out your battery. Making a mistake could ruin the motherboard.

I am looking for audio driver for my emachine j3036

Hi,

As you have posted the model of the motherboard of you emachine J3036, MSI K8NGM-V has a Realtek ALC655 that is capable of 6 channels audio output and is compliant with AC97 v2.2 specifications. If your Operating System is Windows XP, you can download and install AC'97 Audio Codecs by clicking on this link (XP and lower versions). And for Windows Vista or 7, you will need the High Definition Codecs. Download and install appropriate audio driver from this link (HD).

Please reply for follow up.

Thanks.

EMachine model 1300G running XP. no audio

You betcha

this what you do, You go to your bios by F2 or whatever command that enters setup. You diasable the onboard sound card first. Go out and puchase a nice sound car around $40 bucks respectivly put it into a pci slot install your drivers and your good to go. remeber you speakers connect now to the back of the new sound card outputs not the one onboard.

Here is what i think what happend the back of the computer where the previous sound card was or still is those jacks may have died on you so you headphones that are plugged into the frount hack work and so will your speakers but i know its a hassel but a new sound card will take care of this iisue.

thanks i hope this information does help please do leave ratings and postive feedback for your free solution.

MY BROTHER JUST GAVE ME THIS MOTHERBOARD FOR MY EMACHINE AND SAID IT CAME OUT OF AN EMACHINE, WHAT POWER SUPPLY DO i NEED TO INSTALL? Intel D845EPI Motherboard

i have seen those in some emachines but the original power supply stinks the processor needs a power supplie the has at least 300 watts but 400 plus is a better choice depending on which emachine case to have it might need ti have the case modded to fit a larger power supplie some emachine case have a plate mounted the allows both power supplie type to be used the small power supplies are garbage so go with the larger p4 power supplie most all should be able to be modded to fit in you case. Just remember the more power in mean the more power out.
