My Dell AIO 922 powers on fine, and can print documents and pictures. The scanner portion of the AIO is not working properly. Nothing happens when I press the 'scan' button on the printer. When I try to import photos into Adobe Photoshop via the printer the scanner does not work. The scanner never even warms up or begins to scan, it does nothing at all. I have reconnected power chords and restarted my computer, this has no effect. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Not sure if this is the correct way around, but it worked. Go to Start --> All programs --> Dell Printers --> Dell Photo AIO Printer 922 --> Dell All-in-one center
From here, you can determine and change your scan settings as needed; then click "scan now" (thus by-passing the button on the actual AIO machine). This scanned photos into my picture program so I could email to all the grandparents!
Re-install the dirver software remove the printer from device manager.and then install. bye

I have bought a new toshiba labtop. i am using my old dell AIO printer 922 but i can only print stuff out. i am not able to scan anything. i downloaded the programme with the cd. but their is no button or link which i can scan images.
I have a dell studio laptop with windows vista, hooked up to a dell 922 AIO printer/scanner. printer power is on, but I want to scan a document, I hit scan button and nothing happens....what gives and how do I get the document to scan onto the laptop....Thank you
All the lights are off, the front panel LED is dark. The scanner will scan but the light on the scan bar is off so it returns a black image. The printer sounds like it is warming up when turn on but no lights and it doesn't attempt to print....is there a fuse or something that could've blown?
