No heat Sears Kenmore Elite Dryer Model number 110.63932102. How do you get it apart to troubleshoot? Any Pictures? It appears the element is easy to get to from the front? Thank you in advance for your help! Brian

Gas dryer no heat means the heating element broke or fell apart, need to install new one, go to sears hardware and order a repacement....model # in hand.

You have some blockage between lint trap and where the unit vents outside.

Good Morning, It sounds like your heating element has quit. This will probably involve an element, thermostat and thermal fuse. The dryer will have to be taken apart to work on. UNPLUG MACHINE. The most likely cause, is a burned out heating element. Sears has the replacement pparts. You will need the model and serial numbers. The replacement is relatively easy. Disconnect the power and then from the back, take out the screws that hold the element housing in place. Depending on the model, you will also have to pop the top to get the unit out.

Hi, I have an 11yr old 80 series elec. dryer and just fixed the same problem. On the heater element is a thermostat with 2 wires and above that about 14" is another piece with 2 wires. I had to replace the top one. They sell them together in a kit called Thermal cut off kit. Sears sell it for 25.49 look up part number 279816 or 3399848 again these numbers are for my dryer but you can look them up on the sears parts web site. If you have a sears service center near by they let me buy the parts to see which one it was and then return the ones I didn't need. I hope this helps.Good luck

usually if it heats up but long dry times ,,air flow problem inspect exhaust hose and vent s should resolve problems...

before you take it apart make sure you have not lost 1 phase of the 220 volt line into dryer , dryers will run and appear fine on 110 volts be will not heat check fuse or breaker and re-set breaker even if it does not appear tripped , if fuse in line turn off power and remove fuses and check with an ohm meter , then if you have a volt meter check for 220 volts @ socket of dryer , then we will talk dis-assembly

1. when you press start and release dryer shuts off

for this problem, change the board in the console

2. not producing heat

for this problem, check to see if 220 is getting to element, check to see if you are getting 220 from outlet, check your thermal cutoff on heating housing, check your heater relay which is located in top console.
