Carb adjustment on McCulloch 32cc?

I have a McCulloch leaf blower that only runs with the choke partially closed. It is a 32cc and I believe the model number is MB3202. There appears to be two adjustments on the carb. If these are adjustments, can anyone tell me what they are. If they are idle and run mixture adjustments, which one is idle and run? (The fuel is clean and lines clear).

Thanks stihlpower! The adjustments are not labeled, in fact they are not your normal screw. They are flat plastic-like adjustments inside a case with a **** for a screwdriver. They are right next to each other. I have experience with engines and I have disassembled the carb, soaked it and cleaned. I did not find a screen or filter of any type in iy but I will look again. I did make sure the fuel line was free and open. I'll open it up again and see if I missed something. Thanks again!!!!

The l is for idle and the h is for top end but thats not ur problem it sounds like ur carb is clogged there is a screen inside of the carb the fuel gets crystalized and blocks off some and sometimes all of the fuel ill bet thats the problembut u can try the adjustments first give the unit full throttle and turn the h adjustment screw in and or out till it sounds great and at full power if that dont work then do the screen in the carb

How should I adjust the carburetor on my McCulloch MB3202 leaf blower?

You can typically perform a Google search on your specific carb adjustment (if it is adjustable). This may require special tools to access the high/low adjustment screws.

I recommend contacting your local authorized service center directly.
You may also contact the manufacturer, download manuals, check fuel/oil ratios and view other resources using these links:

Engine won't run unless choke is partially closed.

when the choke is partially closed there is extra vacuum created in the venturi of the carby that assists to help pull the fuel through the main jet and the idle circuit
it indicates that the main jet circuit still has a blockage or there is insufficient fuel getting to the carby ( vent problem)
it could be from a gasket or diaphragm blocking a vacuum port or the fibre block under the carby incorrectly fitted

My 4 cycle BP blower will run with the choke halfway, but not fully opened or fully closed. The throttle will not increase speed, either. What would you suggest? It takes a good 5 minutes with choke...

The carburetor needs to be cleaned and/or adjusted so if you do that, you may as well install a low price gasket and diaphragm kit in it. This will alleviate all the problems that you mention. I don't know your model number else I could give you the part number for the carb kit to install. This solution works most of the time.

Wont run up to speed without choke partially on. Where are the carb. adjustments? Does it requir a special tool/

Probably uses a Zama Or Walbo carb. The mixture screws are factory preset and may or may not have plastic limiters on them. There are tools for adjusting these type carbs or you can fashion one yourself. Most of the screws are of the "splined" variety.Running partially choked is a result of the carb needing adjustment and/or repair (rebuild kit). Like anything else, they require maintenace and installing diaghram or rebuild kit accomplishes this...you can remove and clean the carb and its internals with non-flammable brake cleaner aerosol spray. Don't use high PSI compressed air on it and never soak the carb.

My leaf blower starts up fine but when I advance choke to its 3rd setting which is all the way open and try to raise throtle it dies out and have to close choke to keep running.

Sounds like a carb issue. Try spraying carb and choke cleaner while it is running. If that does not help may be remove carb and clean and rebuild it. My weed eater does same thing and I get it running and then spray it down. It takes a couple of sprayings but it helps.

Good luck

Craftsman 32cc blower stalls

Your carb is leaning out, causing the thing to die. Try adjusting the mixture screw (out) to richen the mixture. If there is a cap, you can pull it off to go richer. If that doesn't work, either the filter/pickup is plugged, the fuel line is kinked/smashed, or the carb needs to come apart to be cleaned.
