What does the dance mat plug into?

I recently purchased a wii hottest party dance mat that came with the dvd, booklet and mat. But i have no idea where the lead from the dance mat goes! The booklet has no instructions and the wii console has no socket for the lead to plug into...help!

For the WII there is a door on top abotu 4 inches in length - - the plugs are there! I wouldn't have known this without reading n3me5i5's answer - thanks and Merry Christmas

On top of the Wii there is a door that opens to show 4 plugs - plud dance mat in here

No it's not...on the left hand side there is a door...open it and plug it in there (xbox plugs)....

While I haven't specifically played this game, I'm pretty certain the plug is a USB plug, which goes in the back of the wii.

DDR hottest party 3 where does the mat plug in?
The wii comes equipped with a Backwards compatibility with the old gamecube. The mat that it comes with is essentially a Gamecube remote. The slot for those are located at the top of your wii system. Just gotta unhinge the top part you should see it. It has the capacity to hold 4 gamecube remotes
