The CMOS is a block of static RAM that will lose its data if power is removed.
most newer laptops are using a small block of Flash RAM (perhaps a block of addresses within the Flash BIOS chip itself) or other type of EEPROM chip to store the password.

No amount of removing batteries and pressing power buttons will change it

Sony Vaio PCG and some Vaio VGN Series use the last 7 digits of the laptop serial number to calculate the bios master password. The serial number for a Sony Vaio is often located on the bottom of the laptop on a white sticker. The serial number may also be found by removing the battery and checking in the battery compartment. Just remove the Cmos battery And wit 2 minutes again fit the battery .Your password will be soon reset.

open the case at back of your notebook you will see the motherboard, look for the battery just a size of a coin, thats the cmos battery and replace it with a new one.

at the back there would a white strip containing some info. it would be sticked on battery . there would be 2 buttons. first slide lock and then slide release and its done

You can find CMOS cell on motherbord chipset.
it is in back side of laptop.
Open back side of laptop then find motherbord chipset you can find 1 CMOS cell on motherbord chipset pull that CMOS cell for 15 minutes then all settings are defaults.

I have the same problem some times. Just reboot and it should work :)

u need to update drivers for sound card.

also check the configurations of skype.
