No Picture/No Sound

This is very possibly a power surge, can you tell me how many times the light blinks, you probably have a bad power board now if you had a power surge.

I have a JVC AV-65WP74, I went to bed watching the TV then turned it off for the night but the next day when I turned it back on the blue light came on on the TV but no picture, the TV makes a fast...

The clicking you hear is probably caused by a relay that controls the incoming AC to the main power supply. This is a protective reaction to a problem in the power supply itself or an overload due to a failure downstream from the supply. This is not a likely DIY repair. You will probably need a technician to determine which of these two likely problems it is.

Hi the tv just wont turn on...

most likely its your J2 noise reducer. it filters out the static in the electrical line to convert or power to a resonable voltage to use. however when the go bad the tv filters in to much power thus casing a power surge blowing a internal circuit so u have two options a go to a local repair shop and get them to fix it or throw away cause u will spend more fixing it than what is truly worth sorry.

52" rear projection tv has no power and fuse is ok

The clicking noise that you are hearing is actually the power relay. Normal operation by either the remote or the power button on the front panel, you would normally hear a soft click just after the press of the power buttons to turn the unit on or off. When you initially plug the unit in to power, you will hear the same click noise. Being that you are hearing it all the time indicates a failed relay. TV's now a days, or at least ones built during the last 15 - 20 years have different Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). There are PCB's for power (which youre dealing with now), sound, video and so on. The PCB that you need to repair your clicking issue will run you about 80 U.S. dollars for the part plus the average going rate for repair from a qualified service tech. You could purchase the part from Thompson Consumer Products repair and fix it yourself, but be aware, there will be no warranty on the part itself unless an authorized tech does the work. Located on this PCB is the power on/off relay, fuse, usually 4-5 connectors for power to different PCB's (depending on model and features). Now depending on how old the TV actually is, you may want to invest in a newr set, the reason why I say that is, is because the new power unit may and can overload the other boards and cause damage to them and now you have a new problem to deal with( along with more money being tossed down a hole.

Good luck

Television malfunction

If you know how to solder - solder around Flyback transfomer,if not you need to order a deflection power supply board.this is where your problem is.ThankYou for using FixYa. Have a Nice Day.
