Is it mic problem or audio ic problem

Either mic "mute" is on or mic capsule is dead...dropping these low-end wireless mic's are usually fatal. Upgrade and you won't regret it.

There are two problems in your phone, First one is your keypad and the second one is Microphone.So for keypad you need to change the keypad IC (filter) and fir mic you have to change the Mic/Mic IC.Therefore my comment is to contact mobile repairing shop.Good luck

This mic has a 10db pad or attenuator switch near the bottom of the barrel... make sure you haven't accidentally engaged it.

If that's not.... it try changing the lead. Also the power supply on your preamp could be failing.
These are a few cheap things to try before spending money for fixing.

If you take your external speaker and plug it into your PA jack in the back and key up your mic do you hear anything. If so then its not your IC chip if not its your IC chip and it will need to be replaced.

Is the radio set up correctly? Is the volume turned up / squelch turned down?

If they can hear you but tou cant hear them, try opening the radio up and checking the speaker connections.

Ill need to know the result of those questions and tests before i can help further...

attach your mic and check and see if the sound recorder works if it does you should be in good shape
Start-> Programs->Accessories-> entertainment-> sound recorder

and check out if the wave file plays out sounds

if not tell me what mic ure using and what sofware came with mic

My laptop model is compaq presario c754tu, I have installed Windows Vista Business, and the audio is working fine, but the internal mic and external microphone both work together........i want to mute the internal mic..... how i can do it ? please reply me on my email id i.e. [email protected]

If you are using xp, try going to the control panel, sound and audio devices, click on audio tab.
to check the mic settings, click on the volume tab under the sound recording sections. Make sure that the mic is selected and the volume turned up. It may be working only to record, not to hearback without recording...so you may have to actually be recording or talking to someone to know if its workings.
To check the sound, check to see if your audio device is selected under "sound playback" section...and make sure that all channels are unmuted and turned up. you may also have to check the volume control on the laptop (actual buttons on the pc) if there are any, and make sure that the volume is up and unmuted there also.
