When I received some photos from a friend, I had to download the software to view the photos...I mistakenly checked the "yes" box to make Kodak Easyshare my default photo software. It then converted all of my jpg files to easyshare files, and it saves all photos that I open or save as easyshare files. Is there any way to convert the easyshare files back to jpgs? Also, how do I change the default setting from Kodak Easyshare without deleting the software and losing all of my pictures that are saved as easyshare files?
Thanks--Matt
I'm not sure how to change the default picture program... but i can tell you that you won't lose pictures if the easyshare program is deleted. it's just an extra program to view/edit pics.... the actual pics are located in a generic folder somewhere on your computer. click properties on one of the pics in easyshare, and see where it's located. then just go to that folder through windows....
hope i helped a little, sorry i don't have the solution for the other part

I have the same problem! and we don't have our easy share printer hooked up to our computer any more. Now when people e-mail me photo's I can't even open them because it's trying to convert them to Easyshare??? I don't get it and I don't want it to be my default anything but I can't figure out how to change it! rrr.
