My printing is so poor

do you have the canon print management software installed? it's located in the maintenance tab on that software.

I used to use an LX300 and have never had this problem. I'm not sure what unclear means so I will just do some guessing. Clarity of the print depends on 3 things, software, printhead and ribbon. These are your problem areas. Epson has an option to print NLQ or near letter quality. So that should give more clarify. I basically double prints the same letter to create a darker image. The printhead, if your printer is really old, you need to either find someone to refurbish the printhead or buy a new printhead because it could be the impact pins are bent and not giving the strongest image. Lastly the ribbon, obvsiously the more used the ribbon is the weaker the image. So either re-ink the ribbon or buy a new ribbon cartridge. Hope this helps.

fist of all reunisall your printer driver ....
if problem dose not fix .
it means black colour laser section have problem so you can clean lens of laser if posible and replace laser secaner.
