Song screwups Sansa c250

Every once in a while (Maybe every 1-2 weeks) My Sansa c250 will freeze. Well, it freezes all the time anyway, but these certain times its special freeze. When i have to take out the battery, since there is no other way to turn it off, and put it back in and start it up, all of the songs have doubled.

But the doubles arent the song its named for, its the song that would usually be in its -place (example: there is Song 1, Song 1, Song 2, Song 2, etc., The first Song 1 is the actual Song 1, the econd Song 1 is Song 2, the first Song 2 is Song 3, and the second Song 2 is Song 4.)

Eventually, it gets to the last song, but the list keeps on going since the number of songs i actually have on the thing are doubled, but only the first half of the songs, which would be the usual number, work. The second half is just a bunch of names of songs that play the last song i listened to.

Is there any way to prevent this and keep the little creep from doing this? Has there been an update released that i have not gotten to prevent this?

Reads Bad Track

If you changed the name of the song then thats the problem just simply change its name back to the original.

If thats not the problem then just delete the song or it will mess your sansa up and download it again for free with limewire

My e270 freezes and switches off mid song

When it freezes there can be a problem from the music, since it cant read it well, and when it turns off there can be a problem with your battery. Your Battery might be low..
