You can always download Manycam and install it. Go towww.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When thesite opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says FindSoftware. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the whitesearch area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your resultslook for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it andinstall it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs itwould like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additionswhatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,and you will always know where your webcam software is.
Click Start/My Computer and see if your DvD/CD drive is listed as being on the computer. If not remove the power cord, remove the battery, turn the laptop over and remove the one screw that secures the DvD drive then remove the drive and put the drive back in. Try rebooting once the drive is back in. See if it works, If not you will need to try removing upper and lower filters.
Are you using a DvD that someone made for you or a store bought DvD? Computers sometimes have problems reading DvDs that someone made. Try a store purchased DvD and Cd.
Try a sytem restore and bring computer back in time before all of this happened.

I recently bought Acer Aspire 4530 but the camera is not working. the camera is black and it doesnt open even if i change setting regarding brightness and all. I even downloaded Bison 2.0.01.7 and Suyon 2.0.8.1 drivers but when i install those - even it didint work.

Check first your webcam if its is installed properly... the message poop bcoz the system cannot find connected webcam its not acttualy about your connection to the internet..

Yeah I've noticed many users of Acer's Aspire complaining same problem and i must suggest you to upgrade your software because in many cases Acer gave older version of app and its not compatible with their Crystal Eye webcam. So please go to acer's website & download their latest version of that software from there...
