These are the worst, most incomplete operating instructions I have ever read. How do you access the 'set' menu? What does it look like? How do you change from high to low sound? There are all sorts of symbols I see on the screen with no reference to them whatsoever. I have the exact same problem. I was able to charge the battery twice, but both times it ran empty after 20-30 min., and now the camera is dead as a brick. Absolutely nothing happens when I try to charge or turn it on. :( Three weeks old Hero 3 Silver.
Need hard copy of manual. Existing instruction very unclear. Need to talk directly to a Tech asap. Camera also takes VERY BAD PICTURES?. Can't use camera presently. I am a pro Photgrapher & this camera is junk !!!
