SOURCE: What are the specifications for
Hi,
Take the cover off of the capacitor...it is the bump on the top of the motor...then look on the capacitor and find the numbers that end with mfd. that is the size or rating of the capacitor...also then look for the voltage of the capacitior...you need to match that also...there are so many different motors used, even for the same pump that it is hard to say for sure what you may need there with out looking at it.
You can do that and then you know you are getting the correct cap for your motor...
My guess is that you are looking for something in the range of a 20mfd 370volt cap. but please check it out for sure they vary alot!!

SOURCE: How do you replace an impeller on a 1.0 hp Pentair
Remove the bolts that hold the 'wet end' of the pump to the 'dry end'. If the impeller is held on with a screw, it is a 'left-hand' tighten which means it turns the opposite way of normal screws. Be careful not to damage the impeller. Any scoring on it will effect its performance and it will only be worth doing if everything goes back together cleanly and properly. Replace and lube all O-rings with silicone lube. Make sure all bolts are tightened and do them in an alternating fashion to ensure that you get a good seal.
