MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.

Just plug the mp3 player in like it was a removable storage device and drag and drop the songs into a folder on the mp3 player. you can delete the songs the same way. You dont have to install the software that comes with the player. I bought my son one and was having the same problems as you guys and this is how I fixed it.

Here is the answer. The problem is the software that the MP3 Player runs off of. It can only read so many file directories, once you have too many file directories, it just stops seeing them. You have to try and cut down the number of folders you have. What I did with mine was took them out of the sub-folders and had all the music under the artists name....you'll just have to **** it up on this one, bad R&D, but you went with an inexpensive MP3 Player....you get what you pay for.
