I followed the part where pinework said to push paper through. I tried everything else and nothing worked. I was not sure what kind of paper he was talking about so i took a plain folder folded it in half and pushed it through. I could not push it all the way through but I could see it coming out the other end so I pulled it out and then hit the OK button and everything was working again. Thanks for the help!!
best and easy way is to use a thick bit A4 card fold it in half long ways push it all the way through the middle. It might take you 2 time to clear it but it will work.
this one worked for me, i pushed a piece of card through and out popped a small nail! works great now!!!!! thanks andy
Tks, for the tip.

Turn the Printer on
Wait for the error message
open the printer
move the ink cartridge a little bit to the right
on the left side you have three gear wheels
move the frontmost forward to move the printer carriage it should go easy.
Close the Printer and press OK to test the printer.
If it not works move the gear wheel further and further and maybe backwards to remove stuff which block the carriage

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.
This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you.
Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.
First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.
If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.
Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.
That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.
So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.
Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

I had the same problem, but after pressing the OK button when the paper jam came up again I pressed the CANCEL button and was able to print my document. See if that works for you too.
