Unable to access some apps installed on my iPad because no icon shows up on the iPad for these apps

WHERE HAVE THE ICONS GONE FOR SOME OF MY INSTALLED APPS? iPad works fine in most respects but unable to access SOME installed apps as no icon appears for them on iPad. Lack of icons also means unable to uninstall these apps for possible re-installation. So, I'm stuck in a cleft stick!

When you exceed your allowed pages for apps, they will still install, but app cannot be created for lack of pages. You can get more room by grouping similar apps into 1 folder to make space. You can also use search function to fill any app installed.Scroll all pages to right until keyboard appears, then type name of app,it will appear in dropdown list.

Here is what you need to do. First, make sure the icons aren't on another page. Swipe right on you main screen to make sure. Another possibility is that you have restrictions on which are hiding the icons. Go to Settings > General > Restrictions. If it asks for a 4 digit code, you have some restrictions on. If you know what it is, enter it. After you enter it, you have two options. You can either press the "Disable Restrictions" button, or you can go down to where it says "Allowed Content" and click Apps. At that point, make sure that "Allow all apps" is check. That should fix the problem. If not, you should reset your ipad. You can do this by holding the Home and Power button simultaneously. Let go when you see the Apple icon appear on screen. This may cause the icons to reappear. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: all of a sudden the icons are too big and don't

I believe that you may have the accessibility mode turned on. I think if you double tap with three fingers it should return to normal.

I have an iPadand would like to put my Kindle books here

Install the Kindle app from Apple's App Store on your iPad.
To do this, click on the App Store icon, click, the search icon (magnifying glass) in the lower right corner, type Kindle in the search box, then select Kindle App for iPad ... or ... Kindle for iPad from the list. Click the Install button.

Once the app is installed, open it.
The files that you already own should start to automatically download. You may only see the various cloud file icons in your list, and then need to click on them to start to download the files.

Updates to downloaded files can be done when they become available or may happen automatically depending on your iPad's settings.

Apple i-pad air boots up to a larger screen, the touch icons are hard to move.

Hi Julie
If by larger screen, you mean Zoomed screen, it could be that you have turned on zoom in Settings / Accessability.
Also.... the iPad is "booted up" all the time. Generally all you are doing is Waking the iPad from sleep or screen in sleep mode.
To ReBoot your iPad (worth doing every month or so) First quit all Apps by double clicking round button and individually swipe each open App upward to shut the App down. When all apps are turned off, Hold the Top button & Round Button in together for about 5-10 seconds. This will shut the iPad down completely. When all off, Press the top button in for about 5 seconds. You will see the Apple logo while it ReBoots. This usually fixes any minor glitches etc in the Apps. If a particular App is giving problems, you can hold your finger down on it till the X shows in the LH Top of its icon. Click this and it will be wiped off your iPad. Then re download it for free through the App Store and check to see if problem has gone.

Hope this proves useful.
