When cooking, the electronic display started flashing, then went blank, then code F1 appeared and a beeping noise started. I reset the panel and the beeping stopped, the code disappeared, and the normal display of time and oven temperature came back on. The range burners work normally and the oven turns on, but I can not set the temperature other than the preset temp. of 350. The numbers on the touch pad no longer work.
Mine is an amana double wall oven. It beeps intermittently loosing the time readout, sometimes at least. This is usually accompanied by the F1 code readout at the display panel. When its time to bake the 350 deg can be seen at the display. The oven may light and warm up but things go hay wire and erratic thereafter.
That error means the main control board has a internal failure. The board will have to replaced to fix that issue. If you need detailed repair help with that visit the link below:

Hi~ According to the manual for this oven, the F2 code signifies - high oven temperature. The only suggestion for any of the codes in the manual is to disconnect the electrical supply. It says" pressing OVEN CANCEL pad or disconnecting electrical supply may eliminate "F code". If failure continues, contact an authorized servicer.
I hope this helps. Linda
