Canon PC 1060 has a paper jam that we can't get to

You can access it but you need to know what you are doing, The fixing assembly is accessed buy removing the screws and plastic panel at the exit, then remove the platen glass slide platen cover over about half way then where the flex cable is under glass remove plastic cover to access a small hole through which a long screw driver will fit to release a screw holding the fixing assembly in place, then remove the other screws holding the assembly which are near the exit, remove connectors and that will free up assembly.
