Adjusting hands to markers

What you need to do is to pull the crown to step 2 (full out) and then push the chrono top chrono button. Then the second hand will start moving one tick a time all through the dial. Keep pushing it until you reach to zero. then push crown back in,, That's it.

Instruction manual

If the second is ticking as normally it is not the battery. If the battery is low the second hand will advance only at 5 second intervals meaning for four seconds the second does not move and on the 5th second it will advance by five seconds. This is a feature unique to Tag Heuer.

How do you reset the second hand so it sits at the 12 o clock position on an Ingersoll diamond automatic chronograph watch

I don't know if it's the same, but I just solved this problem on a Victorinox (Swiss Army) Chrono Classic XLS. The process involves:
1) Pulling the plunger out to position 3 2) Holding both buttons down for 2 seconds 3) When the hands stop moving press the top button. Each time it's pressed it will advance the second hand one tick. Keep tapping the top button until the second hand is in the 12 position. 4) Push the plunger in.

The second hand jumps forward every 5 seconds but the watch still keeps time OK.

You need to replace battery.
Q/A from swiss army website.
Q. How do I know when the battery needs changing?
A. In select models, the battery end-of-life indicator signals that the battery should be replaced within two or three days. When the battery is low, the second hand stands still for 2-4 seconds, and then speeds up to the correct time. This indication will last for approximately one week, and then the timepiece hands stand still.

Stuck second hand

You need a new battery, as there is not enough power to move both gears. You can send it back to Wenger and get battery replaced or just pop into your nearest watch repair shop and get it replaced. It will cost you $5.oo and will be done in 10 minutes time instead of months of waiting it back from Wenger. Rate me, plz.

Wenger watch second hand pauses and skips ahead 4 seconds, it's keeping time find. Seems to just have started.

That is a low battery indicator. It will do that until the battery is replaced or is dead. When it does that it means its time to change the battery.

The second hand stops on the minute hand

If the hands are binding the movement needs to be removed from the case and the hands set right. i.e. parrallel and not binding.
