Audiovox DVD overhead Monitor

We bought a audiovox DVD overhead monitor for our vehicle. My husband wanted to be sure that it worked before he installed it so he hooked it up to a power supply and turned it on. On the left hand side going parallel is a white line and that side of the screen is fuzzy. We attatched video cords to it to try a DVD and it did the same thing. Is there something we need to adjust or is this an actual problem with the system? It did play a DVD fine but the parallel line and fuzzyness is a concern.

thanks!!

Audiovox PVS69701 Dual Screen DVD player monitor has blue screen

I had the same problem, and it seems to be a short in the video cable between the two monitors. I can bend my cable until i see the second screen and then tuck it under the headrest. I am currently looking for a replacement cable. I see it at 1800customersupport.com, but will also check the local radioshack since I need it quickly.

Just bought a used toyoya and it has a drive mobile entertainment system dvd player in it. I can't get the headphones to work

Okay first of all im going to assume you are using wireless headphones. If thats the case make sure your overhead will operate wireless hphones. If you can see some hidden leds it does go to menu on your unit and make sure the infrared headphone is turned on.
